Research
Activities
The Centre for Human Rights Education is actively engaged in research activities across a range of human rights issues. While human rights based issues are covered more broadly, the work at the Centre particularly focuses on:
- Refugees and asylum seekers
- Gender, sexuality and human rights
- Rights to culture and knowledge
- Social justice and education.
The work of the Centre seeks to encourage public debate, discussion and deliberation on these human rights issues, and as well as publishing research in books and journal articles, Centre staff regularly engage with a range of media including online opinion pieces, public forums, public inquiries, and radio. See our Publications page for more details.
