About InASA
The International Australian Studies Association (InASA) was formed in 1995, in recognition that Australian Studies is an international enterprise with Australian studies centres and professional associations throughout Asia, Europe and North America. For the first time, the International Association of Australian Studies conference will take place in Western Australia (WA).
Conference 2016
Venue
Tannock Hall of Education, University of Notre Dame
corner Cliff and Croke Streets, Fremantle
Western Australia
In order to accommodate a significant increase in registrations to this year’s InASA 2016 Conference, the Venue has had to been changed. The Conference site is now the Tannock Hall of Education (Building ND4) of the University of Notre Dame on the corner of Cliff and Croke Streets, Fremantle. This beautiful venue in the Fremantle CBD is conveniently located not more than 10 mins walk from the WA Maritime Museum and 2 mins from Bather’s Beach. Close to the main park, High Street and Roundhouse and 5 mins walk from the New Editions Bookshop, the Education Building is a perfect conference venue with a theatre and breakout rooms all co-located.
We acknowledge that the conference is being held on the traditional lands of the Nyungar people.
